The California Board of Veterinary Medicine and the American Veterinary Medicine Association do currently allow non invasive, no diagnostic, non treatment procedures to be done on livestock animals. However, this work done by Lay Practitioners is under fire and is being debated strongly in legal terms. Sign this petition to allow certification of Lay Practitioners and help reduce the work load of food animal vets due to shortages ultimatly providing employment, raising economy, and providing better treatment for animals!
Proud to announce we raised the $1,500 in less than a week to save the 2 slaughterbound mares! They found good homes before we were able to pick them up that afternoon. All donations were returned. It was still amazing to watch the entire crew all over the country come together for this cause! Good job team!
